This was my picture in 1st day with my Versa.
As you see how happy I was .
But after only one month of buying this pretty , light weight watch , I lost this happiness and for the 1st time i feel the weight of versa on my arm.
When I was 1st installing the fitbit app. i saw many... many negative feedback comments about problem in syncing the watch with the app happening mainly after one month , but I was not worry as I bought the watch from a big trusted electronic center in my country.
But just after one month I discovered that I became one among those many.. many ones.
My watch now lose connection with phone many times per day and need to restart my phone many times.
I was about to lose my job because i missed very important calls one day.
I am not writing this post to find a solution as fitbit itself does not have a one and just keep on answering with useless steps that never work.
I am just surprised.
Aging affect us and every thing and every device...
But one month is not that time for an expensive watch like versa to turn into a custome hand watch only.
I am disappointed fitbit ... as disappointed as was happy before.😣

After 6 years with 5 phones, I still am able to sync, and find most app updates getting more bugs worked out. The current update is the smoothest version yet.
My phones do not last as long as a Fitbit.

Hi Rich...
Actually most of the negative comments come from Android devices.
I think the versa sync very well with the IOS.
Any way ...
My versa was also doing well for a month with my Android one phone OS.
That means no conflict was there in my phone OS .
I also upgraded the versa app to latest version but no use

Since you say your in the android play store, I would assume mist comments would be from Android users.
But yes, Apple keeps full control of both the OS and the hardware.
Android let's the manufacturer decide on the hardware, this adds a lot of problems when developers write drivers, and also why Garmin has kinks to work out with Android devices.
I still say that with almost every app update, my experience is getting smother.

Strangely i can not see any answer from Fitbit as if it is not worth answering.
This is a screen shot this afternoon spending half an hour trying to pair the watch after the versa gave my very good 3 days work and free pairing problems.

Have you reached out to Fitbit for an answer @Minshawy?
We are in the community where Fitbit ysers help out each other. It is not uncommon to not get a response from one of the few moderators on the forum.
Have you looked at the help docs yet?
Why won't my Fitbit device sync?

Hi Rich...
I appreciate your intetest and answers.
Ok , i use the word sync to describe pair the watch to the app through blutooth to see data of activity tracking or when , for example , a call come to phone but not received on the watch so try to be sure it is paired.
I already have red all the solutions fitbit put to solve the problem , but any one not worked to slove it permenantly.
This unpairng is occasional , it can happen twice weekly or twice daily.
Any way it seems like i over estimated what i need from the versa.
Versa is very powerful activity tracker tool but not so for notification.
So i think i will keep it for activity tracking till samsung galaxy become available in KSA ... Samsung claim that the new watch is very good activity tracker and will not loose a notification.
I love versa design , but I thing it needs to do more regarding her app.

Technically the watch does not get paired to the Fitbit app, but gets attached to the users Fitbit account. When you say the watch gets unpaired from the phone needs, this would normally be when a person removes the tracker from the phone nes Bluetooth, is this what is happening.
Have you got in touch with Fitbit support yet? They have the ability to look from the backend .

Usually, most syncing issues are resolved by cutting the bond of the device and the cellphone:
- Go to the bluetooth on your phone, and if you see the versa under paired devices, remove it.
- Turn off the bluetooth, then your phone.
- Turn off the versa from the settings app (settings - about - shut off).
- After a moment, turn them back on, and turn the bluetooth. Open the fitbit app and sync.
As a last resort, have you tried a factory reset?
Lastly, depending on the phone you have, the issue may be more persistent. Which android phone do you have?

Generally when a sync fails on my S8 and my old S5, I find clearing the cache of the Fitbit app or restarting the tracker usually fixes things.

>I still say that with almost every app update, my experience is getting smother.
2.76 completely killed app functionality, 2.74 caused users to have their mobile data eaten up like crazy, 2.75 broke GPS at the app level
there is no way anyone could call the last few updates "smooth"

ImI'on version 2.77
2.76 did not completely break the app. it nearly messed up only one tile. And really did not matter since all this tile broke was showing what was on the tracker. The other aspects of this tile still worked.
I'm not sure of what GPS was broken in the app.ocaisiinly I do use the app to record GPS and haven't noticed a breakup.
As for data usage, while I did read about this, I don't worry with unlimited and only average 78 gig a month, my local cell store says this is low.
I'm surprised that there are people that still need to watch their data usage.
As for the syncing of the tracker, this keeps getting smother and smother.
