Hi everyone

I've had my Versa 2 for two days now and i was so super excited about seeing my sleep score.

I started tracking my sleep by using the 'start sleep' function in the app and was pretty disappointed to not see a sleep score when i went into the app. It didn't show the different sleep stages that i would've been falling into during sleep as well.

Apparently, you don't use that 'start sleep' thing on the app and just go to bed with the watch on? Is that right? Seems kind of misleading to have that function in the app then.

Correct. "Start sleep" and "I'm awake" prevent getting sleep stages and sleep score.  I think they are a leftover from before the devices measured heart rate so could only detect sleep from motion detection.  I don't understand why they are still there, either.  It used to be clearly spelled out in the Help section, at least.  One use I have found for it, thought, is for getting credit for shorter naps.  Fitbit will not detect naps of less than one hour.  For these, you can use Begin Sleep and I'm Awake Now to get credit for the sleep time, the you will not get sleep stages or sleep score for that.  Incidentally it takes at least 3 hours of sleep to get sleep stages and sleep score.
