I was about to buy the Versa 2 but found out you need a subscription for full sleep tracking stats

After browsing the internet for several days for a new smartwatch to use with my Android phone (not an easy task), I settled on the Versa 2 (or that's what I thought).

 

I've watched and read most reviews about the Versa 2, and for me one the main selling point of the Versa 2 (mentioned in most reviews) is its tracking features and especially its detailed sleep stats. Now I've just learned that to get the full detailed sleep tracking stats you need the premium subscription !!!

 

This is really disappointing. I'll keep looking for a new smartwatch, but it won't be a Fitbit 😞

This would probably explain why since last weekend my versa 1 no longer tracks sleep. That's one of the main reasons why I use my versa. Why Fitbit are you making us pay for the feature now especially with these financially hard times? Guess it's time to find a new brand of smart watch,/tracker. So disappointed

This is so disappointing! I, also, was planning to order the Versa 2, because my versa has stopped tracking my heart and no sleep score. The green lights on the back of my watch are no longer coming on. I hope this is not something Fitbit has purposefully done to force people to subscribe to something.
