Since the latest update to my fitbit Versa 2 everytime i track my exercise during my workout my heart rate is WAY off and continually 'below zones'. For example, ive just had a PT session this evening, intense workout, heart pounding, working really hard. Heart rate sat at 79-80 the ENTIRE way through. Because of this my ZM's are not accurate either. Ive tried the usual troubleshooting steps for HR issues ie turn off, re boot, turn on. No difference. Also tried rebooting fitbit. No difference.
Looking at the firmware update thread im not the only one having this issue. Please can we get confirmation on when this will be sorted? I workout 5 times a week and currently getting really frustrated with the incorrect info im getting and logging
Thanks 😊

Just had a chat (online) with a Fitbit support person; at this time there are no planned firmware updates on the horizon.
Yay us. 🙄

Been a Versa user for over three years.
Upgraded from a Versa 2 to Versa 3 at Xmas 2020.
Identical problems. Was so bad I took the Versa 3 back to store.
(After calls, emails, threats and prayers)
Went back to old Versa 2. When the software updated, experienced the same problems.
Bpm showing 50 to 70 below where it should be. Resting bpm all over the place.
Been working out for over three years, know what the numbers should be,
AND I DO know where and how to wear the watch, thank you.
Is there any way to restore the old versa 70.7.14 software (OS 4.1) that worked?

I’ll relate part of what my chat conversation was with a Fitbit rep — but I will say first that I just now finished the factory reset and a very quick bout of exercise did kick the registered HR up to a seemingly “normal” range for me, but I won’t know for certain until I get into another workout tomorrow.
Anyway, I asked directly about whether or not doing the factory reset would restore the device to pre-update firmware, and the answer is yes .... however, as part of the reinstall process your device will automatically update to the latest firmware to complete the setup.
So....your answer would be “no”.
I’ll of course update on this thread with regards the success, or lack there of, the reset process.

First post-reset workout: no change. Still not working correctly.
