Inaccurate gps distance for running

Hi,

This morning my sister and I went for a run together. I was recording using GPS connecting running (I run with my phone) on my Versa, she recorded using the nike app.

Her app said we did 10km and mine said 7.7km. Initially there wasn't much difference in our distance measurement but the longer we run, the further it gets apart. 

Is there a way to fix it or do I start using a different app/watch?

I'm sorry to hear that your Fitbit Versa didn't register your distance correctly.

 

Please make sure that your cellphone is part of the list of supported devices. In order to resolve difficulties with connected GPS you can follow the instructions on this article.
