Hi everyone!
I’ve had my Fitbit Versa for about a month now and I’m not exactly satisfied with it! It’s measurements are extremely inaccurate! I have 2 main issues with it.
The first one is my heart rate measurement. I’m not sure if it’s accurate during normal activities, but during workouts it’s extremely inaccurate! My Fitbit wil show a heart rate of about 120/122 but the cardio device or a finger heart rate monitor wil show me a heartbeat of over a 160! I’ve checked several times with several types of devices but it can be waaaaay of! What can I do about this? Up to about 120 bpm it seems ok, but when my heartbeat increases it doesn’t pick it up.
My second issue is with the amount of steps. It seems to be very sensitive. Things live driving, eating or typing will give me an extra 200 steps. I wear it on my non dominant wrist and that’s also what I have set it on.
There’s also one smaller issue, I’ve set triggers for when I should go to bed, but ever since I’ve changed the time I’m not getting the reminder anymore. I’ve tried changing the time but it didn’t help.
Thanks in advance for any help you can offer!
Nadine

Hi, regarding HR and steps: try restarting your Versa several times and see if that solves your problem. In my case, the Versa accurately monitors my HR and steps. Are you using by coincidence a Third Party Clock Face? If yes, could you send me the name of it, cause some of the Faces are not fully compatible with the new Firmware version and therefore lead to error readings.

Hi i’m using the nebula clock face by Eduard gridan. I accidentally marked your post as the solution. Do you suggest restarting with the buttons on the device or via the app? Should it be done in a row or leave some time in between each restart? Thanks for your advice!

Hi, I prefer the button method.
I looked up your Clock Face. If restarting your Versa does not solve the HR and steps measurements, install a clock face by Fitbit itself. For the Versa "Layers" is the default one and for the Versa SE it's "Light" and restart your watch. Some third party clock faces can behave (suddenly) stangely under the new Firmware version.

I work two jobs. My first job is during the day where I got 6,000+ steps. I got to my second job and I hit 11,000+ before midnight on my watch.
I looked after midnight at my phone and it only counted 8,452 steps.
I'm really frustrated because I am in a work week challenge and my steps didn't register.
