Interval timer

My query is, can I not change my interval timer to start with a 'move', rather than a 'rest' time. I'm currently doing a 0-5 k and our homework is varying lengths of walking and running. We always start on a run, but the interval timer won't allow me to do this. My friend owns a Charge 3 and hers starts with a move time. Is it a iPhone/Android issue? I have an Android phone so our Fitbit apps slightly differ.

If anyone can help me solve this issue, it would be much appreciated.

I've had many many issues with the Versa since receiving it as a Christmas present. Constantly having to reset it as it won't sync. However I love it as a watch so I'd like it to function as a fitness tracker too!
