Ios13 update and NO text notifications on versa

iPhone updated to ios13 and I’m now getting notifications for everything BUT texts. I’ve troubleshooted and reset both phone and Fitbit. Can someone help as it was one of the reasons I bought the versa.

Hi @eleand65 , during the update to iOs 13 Apple changed the rules regarding handling notifications without informing Fitbit about it, so Fitbit is working hard to solve that problem at this very moment. The fact that you now get notifications, except texts, means that Fitbit almost solved this issue. There was a warning on top of the Customer Support site regarding notifications problems and Apple's update to iOS13, but since a few hours it's gone. Regards kuzibri

Hi All,

I've had this problem for months, and tried many of the posted suggestions, but nothing worked.  I just finished with Fitbit Chat, and I am finally getting text messages on my Versa again!!!   Here's what worked or me.  Good luck!!

Settings / Notifications / Messages

• Make sure that “Show Previews” is either “when unlocked” or “always

Settings / Notifications / Messages

• Allow notifications: “on”
• All three alerts have been checked (“lock screen”, “notification center”, and “banners”)
• Badges is “on”
• Show previews should be either “When Unlocked” or “Always”
• Repeat Alerts is either: “once” or “twice”
