Is it possible to set up Fitbit Pay in a different country from where the Versa was purchased?

Hello,

I am traveling through the US and I want to buy a Fitbit Versa SE. I like the option of Fitbit pay. However, I live in Canada. I would prefer to purchase it now rather than waiting until I am back in Canada, but I’m worried that I won’t be able to set up a Fitbit bought in the US with a Canadian bank. Is this the case? I have no idea hope NFC chips work.

Thanks for bringing this to my attention, please note that even if you buy the Fitbit Versa SE in the US, you can set up Fitbit Pay in Canada. However, before setting up Fitbit Pay, make sure your bank is listed in our Fitbit Pay Bank List.

Thank you for the response Marco. My bank is on the list. So, just so I am clear, any Fitbit purchased with Fitbit pay will be compatible with any bank on the list regardless of where it was purchased?

Indeed, as long as your bank (and cards) is compatible with Fitbit Pay you will be able to set up and use your cards in the Versa SE even if you purchased the Versa SE on a different country.
