I just received a replacement for my Versa after the mine bricked from a firmware update. I am weary to update this one, has anyone successfully updated or should I hold off?

Genuinely can't tell if it was causation or correlation, but after the last update my replacement (due to the fact that my first one's face fell out of the metal case, less then 6 months after I bought it) crapped out. Because they go back to the original device, not the replacement date, it was no longer under warranty.. They sent me a 25% off coupon.
I'd hold off, and honestly, after 2, $200+ devices breaking in 18 months and being told, sorry, even if our update was the issue, your watch is no longer warrantied, I bought a galaxy active 2. Slightly more, but the reviews are substantially better.
Will miss the community here, but not enough to send more money on ultimately faulty products.
Good luck, and I'd hold off as long as they aren't forcing it. I wish I had.
