Is my Wifi compatible?

I am struggling to connect my Wifi to my fitbit. I have a Versa and I'm using an iphone, but the Wifi I'm using is one that requires a username AND password to log in.

When I tap the correct Wifi network on the app, it doesn't let me enter my username, therefore I am not able to log in.

Does this mean that the Wifi I am on won't work with my fitbit?

Hi @Isabellemay  I use Wifi, but with an Android phone and Alta HR device. Do you have wifi signed in and working before you open the Fitbit app? Any way to show a screenshot?

I do have wifi signed in on my phone, but when I try to connect my fitbit to wifi it asks for a password. Which is fine, but the type of Wifi I'm using needs me to enter my username, but it doesn't prompt me to fill in a username.

I have a screenshot but I'm not sure how to insert it

When you log into Fitbit, you will need your user name (email address used to set up your Fitbit account) and your Fitbit password. Can you log into Fitbit that way?

It's not my fitbit that I can't log into. It's the Wifi I can't connect to. I'm logged into my fitbit account and when I try and connect my device to the internet via the app it doesn't let me. Because my actual Wifi needs a username when I select the correct wifi from the list of networks it doesn't connect because it's a university Wifi

You check with the IT Department for your university wifi?

Go to the following URL for the manual for Ionic:

https://staticcs.fitbit.com/content/assets/help/manuals/manual_ionic_en_US.pdf

Workable WIFI networks are revealed on page 11 of the PDF as follows:

"Ionic can connect to open, WEP, WPA personal, and WPA2 personal Wi-Fi
networks. Your watch won't connect to 5GHz, WPA enterprise, or public Wi-Fi
networks that require more than a password to connect—for example, logins,
subscriptions, or profiles. If you see fields for a username or domain when
connecting to the Wi-Fi network on a computer, the network isn't supported.
For best results, connect Ionic to your home Wi-Fi network. Make sure you know
the network password before connecting.
For more information, see help.fitbit.com."

I believe Fitbit trackers/watches other than Ionic will be similarly constrained.
