@Cxryx  It's great to see that you've visited the Fitbit Community! Thank you for your inquiry. Your device doesn't show as compatible but that doesn’t mean it won’t work it just means that it hasn’t been tested by our team. You can try going to your Kindles's bluetooth settings and remove all devices listed there. Restart your tablet and restart your device. After this try syncing them. Also, since you are using an Android device, check that your app has the necessary permissions (settings > apps > Fitbit > permissions) and make sure bluetooth and location services (GPS) are on.

Let me know how it goes!

Although Kindle Fire uses Android it is actually a quite different version of Android than the one installed in almost all phones.

In particular Fire OS (this is the name of the operative system by Amazon) doesn't have any Google proprietary technology and it is based only on the Android open source system. This means that it doesn't have also Google Play Service (GPS). My opinion is that Fitbit app is dependent of the Play Service (the notification system is for example part of the GPS) hence Fitbit is not supported on Fire OS devices.

This is just my opinion, only a Fitbit internal developer can confirm this as of course there is no source code available for the Fitbit app.

Thank you for the reply, makes allot of sense, seems like Amazon needs to
do a little more heavy lifting if they want to be in that business, Google
can't do everything for you Amazon

I have a Versa Lite and a Kindle Fire 7. They connect quite successfully. However, syncing takes longer than with my Android Phone.

Hello @AndyIan . This is interesting. Did you sideload Youtube or other Google apps by any chance?

Well why haven't you tried to sync the Fitbit Versa to the Kindle Fire. It has Alexa on it. Which I believe is amazon PRODUCT. This is so stupid on Fitbit part that we purchase a product and there are not compatible apps to work it. If you are going to release a product with a Amazon feature don't you think that FITBIT AND AMAZON should have apps that work with the device. This is such poor communication and nonsense. You should not have to have the latest smartphone to work the Versa 2. FITBIT DO YOUR JOB AND MAKE SURE YOU CAN SYNC THE VERSA 2 TO ANY DEVICE

I have a Versa 2 and a Fire table, and I can't sync them, is there any update on this issue?

Also, this is my first smartwatch and out of the box, the screen only shows the logo and the legend to install the app. is that normal?

it pretty much doesn't have any use until it is synced to a phone?
