I have seen other topics, however, they are more talking about the Ionic. I'd like to see if anyone has actually gone swimming or showered (doubt the latter) with the Versa on and how did it fair?
I can see with the Ionic the states aren't super accurate however I am not too worried about the stats. I am more wondering about the device itself. Any issues or complications with it post swim or during the swim. I have only had mine a couple of days and have yet to get the guts to sink it.

I’m not sure why this thread is marked solved, but I have had my Fitbit replaced twice for water damage. I went swimming with the first one and did laps. It was fine and then died 2 months later only because of moisture from sweat. The second one lasted about the same amount of time. In the event that this 3rd one dies I will not replace it and will seek a refund. They amount of complaints related to water damage suggests this is not an issue that has been resolved Fitbit admin.

I completely agree; this watch is not water proof. I am now wearing my fourth watch and I have not gotten it wet. I will not get it wet. I will keep it because I like the watch. But, the water proofing claim on this watch is false advertising.

Fitbit did not offer me a refund but offered to pay one-half on a watch of my choice. I choose to keep the Fit Versa because I like the watch, but the water proofing aspect is definitely false.
Update:
Am I really having bad luck. As I said before, this is my fourth watch. The first three watches went bad after my water aerobic exercises. I have had this one for several months and have not gotten it wet and it is still working. It not that much bad in the world!

Mine was water resistant for almost a year and then it wasn't. Not a small leak either - lots of water came out of the seams around the sensor, and it only touched water for a few seconds (I was cleaning it). I think that sweating a bit could have killed it at this point.
Oh well, it's going back, and I'll see what they do about it.

@LiliyaFitbit hi, yes, I'm working with the retailer. I had already received a replacement actually, but that one had a bad band that got stuck so... replacement for the replacement on the way.
