I have seen other topics, however, they are more talking about the Ionic. I'd like to see if anyone has actually gone swimming or showered (doubt the latter) with the Versa on and how did it fair?
I can see with the Ionic the states aren't super accurate however I am not too worried about the stats. I am more wondering about the device itself. Any issues or complications with it post swim or during the swim. I have only had mine a couple of days and have yet to get the guts to sink it.

@SeleneD wrote:Yes the Versa is waterproof, you can also swim with it on. All FitBits are water resistant except for the Zip. But only some of the fit bits are swim proof up to fifty meters. I swim with the Versa a lot. I only take it off when I charge it.
The Blaze is splash resistant and cannot be submerged.

I am living proof that Versa is Not waterproof . It died few hours after swimming for two minutes in my backyard pool. Heart Rate sensors died and stopped counting the minutes of activity. Got it Mothers Day! Back to Kohls by first week of June! Resets and tech supports did not help!

Can anyone comment if replaced versa watches work fine and there has been some known issue in initial lot of watches getting dead during swimming.
Mine got dead after first swimming session. I have asked for replacement and now a bit curious if i should try swimming with replaced watch or not.

Then why is there a swimming tracker if it's only water resistant

The Versa is Water proof. And the swimming feature works great for me! I swim with my Versa all the time.
