Is there a way to manually count laps on the versa while swimming?

My versa is way overcounting my laps while swimming. I’d love to have a way to have it only count a lap when I push a button, or something like that. Is this possible, or is there an app that does this?

I would want that option too. Mine also consistently count more laps. Yesterday it counted 13 more laps (26 lengths) than actual (53 instead of 40 laps). Do you find it more inaccurate after the recent update?

I use the Versa app called "Count" by Senorts.
