so i got my versa today.  it's a love hate relationship.

getting notifications, just not vibrating to let me know.

checked all the settings and it is all set correctly.

active minutes not logging which is messing with my calories i can eat for the day

250 per minute is also not registering even though i did walk my 250 all my hours.  no reminders to walk.

delay when i send a test call.

i prefer to keep my phone on mute at work and recieve my notifications on my fitbit, but it doesn't do that anymore.

come on fitbit, get it together.

Hey @XmenMommy, let me give you a warm welcome to the Community! Don't you worry, let me give you a hand on this.

  • With vibration issues, have you tried to restart your Versa? If you haven't, please review the instructions in this post to do so.
  • Regards active minutes, I'd like you to take into consideration the following explanation about how they are earned:

Fitbit devices calculate active minutes using metabolic equivalents (METs). METs help measure the energy expenditure of various activities. Because they do so in a comparable way among persons of different weights, METs are widely used as indicators for exercise intensity. For example, a MET of 1 indicates a body at rest. Fitbit devices estimate your MET value in any given minute by calculating the intensity of your activity.

You earn active minutes for activities at or above about 3 METs.  To stay in line with the Center for Disease Control's (CDC’s) “10 minutes at a time is fine” concept, minutes are only awarded after 10 minutes of continuous moderate-to-intense activity. You can view the CDC’s recommendations on the CDC website.

In addition for active minutes as well, remember that heart rate Fitbit, like your Versa in this case, uses that information to track them, so I'd like you to review the wearing tips in this help article 'cause perhaps you are not wearing your Versa correctly while you are exercising and it is not well tracking your BPM.

  • About the 250 steps per minute, I'd like to know if the Versa itself isn't registering your 250 steps or they don't appear when you sync?
  • If the call notifications are delaying, please review the troubleshooting in this article to fix this.
  • If you have your phone on silent mode and not getting notifications, is because there is a known issue with it, but our team is already working towards a solution. You can take a look at this thread for more information and updates about it.

Keep me posted!

The versa is replacing my blaze. My blaze calculated my active minutes
fine. Its messing with my calorie intake by not calculating. I rely heavily
on my fitbit to keep me in check so this is very frustrating.
It is calculating my steps, just not giving me the credit each hour when I
sync. I have restarted my versa, unpaired it, factory restored it.
I am not getting any notifications at all.

i think the versa is having the issue apple had with their watch.  i switched my fitbit to my other arm, the one without a tattoo and my heartrate is measuring now which will probably fix my active minutes issue.  the other issues are still there

I think the tattoo thing may have fixed all these issues.  has anyone else had this issue.  also, is fitbit working on the silent issue.  i hate having my phone on vibrate.
