Hi there, it won't let me download the Spotify app, I have a Versa and it keeps saying to make sure the Fitbit app and versa are up to date. Checked this and they are but yet I cannot download the Spotify app! Any suggestions?

I got a Versa Lite for Christmas, just updated everything (Version 38.33.1.30) and one of the apps I wanted was the Spotify as I have a premium account. Says to check app and firmware are up to date. Your previous (copy-paste) trouble shooting doesn't seem to work for anyone, there must be another way to fix the problem without a factory reset on the device.

Still happening May 2020. The issue is your trackers are not being sent in factory reset mode. They’re being sent in standby mode. They’re partially installed with software already. Why? You have to go through a setup process anyway with it why not have it go through a full and proper one to begin with so all of us don’t spend our first day (if we’re lucky it’s only that long) trying to figure out how to fix an issue that is your mistake. Thankfully I came across this thread and after exhausting all other options did a factory reset. Funny that while downloading and installing this time it took 10X as long as the original download and install thus meaning you’re not sending these factory reset to begin with. Ridiculous.

Oh and I could install Spotify just fine now.
