Hi

On itunes I clicked the Share iTunes library XML with other applications - however when I open the App to sync music - it comes up with a little warning saying unable to sync protected music.

Any idea what I can do?

Thanks

Are these songs purchased several years ago from iTunes store?  If so, they might have DRM (digital rights management) protection on them to protect you from sharing.  If that is the case, you can google ways to remove the DRM protection.

Thanks for this - the songs aren't old and I am on Apple music - so haven't as such "purchased" the music but pay monthly for it - would that be the reason why?

Sorry, I don't know. but it could be if the music service has some kind of restrictions to it to prevent you from copying the music elsewhere; i.e. so that you won't have access to the music after you stop subscribing.

To me that's what the error message sounds like rather than something from Fitbit.  But I'm just guessing.  I haven't experience it.
