I received a versa for Christmas along with some awesome wireless earbuds fro Jabra.  The problem is that my watch is not recognizing them as a bluetooth audio device.  I have the Jabra elite 65t.  Please tell me this will be fixed.

@valererene Have you paired the Jabra with any other device before pairing with Versa? I am not sure about that particular model but most of the buds allow only for pairing with one device. Reset Jabra, unpair it from your phone, reboot Versa by pressing and holding the left and bottom right buttons until Fitbit logo flashes, put the Jabra in the pairing mode and try connecting with Versa again. Check this article if you need help on how.

Hey @valererene, it is great to see new faces around! Some third party headphones are giving connectivity issues, and our team is aware of this. Don't you worry 'cause they are already working on this so the users can use their Bluetooth headphones without inconveniences.

Either way, you can try the instructions that @Marrrmaduke posted above. 😉

Has the issue with Jabra earbuds not syncing with Versa been resolved? Every time I try to pair, Versa finds the Jabra earbuds, but then it continuously says “Pairing Jabra Elite Active 65t” but never connects. I have reset the Versa. I have reset the earphones. When I first got the earphones in Nov, they paired up for a few days. Since then, they have not. I got the Versa so I could use wireless headphones and listen to music on my Fitbit without having my phone in the gym. It did pair up with my previous Bluetooth headphones but has had problems with Jabra. This is very frustrating!

Hello @Mimisue, welcome aboard and thanks for trying a few tips to connect your Jabra earbuds with your Versa. I can't tell you when the third-party headphones will no longer have issues to connect with the Fitbit Versa, so in the meantime, I can only ask you to be patient while our team still working on this.

What I had to do was unsync my phone with my jabras, turn the jabra’s off and make sure your phone Bluetooth was off so it would find the jabra’s and then they would find my Versa.  I hope that they add amazon music so I can resend my Versa with my earbuds but for now I just carry my phone with me.

Hope that helps and makes since.

I tried what you suggested and it didn’t work. My Jabra Active Elite 65t earbuds won’t connect to my Versa. I’m glad it worked for you.

I tried this and it didn’t work. I still can’t connect my Jabra earphones to my Versa. Earlier you posted that the company was aware of this issue and is working on a solution. What is the status of that solution?

Hey @Mimisue, I hope you are doin' fine! I appreciate the tips you have tried so far to fix this. Well, as I've mentioned before, since the Jabra are third-party headphones, you might experience connectivity issues between it and your Versa. But our team is working towards a solution so I will ask you to be patient while this is getting resolved.

I actually finally got my Jabra Elite Active 65t earbuds to connect. I am having issues with WiFi connecting on my Versa. I did a total reset to factory and finally got WiFi to connect. Only then did I see there was an update. After that, I had to restart the Versa, reset the earbuds and then it finally connected to my Versa. I do have to remove the earbuds from the Versa every time and pair again and then connect. Not convenient, but it’s working.

Thanks for the update @Mimisue. Is great to read that your Jabra Elite Active 65t are working with your Versa, even though you have to be disconnect them and pair them again. Those are the issues that some users are experiencing with their third-party headphones. I will ask you to be patient while this get resolved. 😉

@shivaram Have you tried:

  • removing Jabra from paired devices list on your Versa
  • removing Jabra from paired devices list on your phone (i'm assuming you had the buds paired with your phone at some point)
  • resetting jabra by pressing multifunction button for 10 seconds until LED flashes purple
  • checking for firmware update for Jabra in the Jabra Sound+ app
  • turning off the bluetooth on your phone, rebooting Versa (press and hold the left and bottom right buttons until fitbit logo appears), putting Jabra in the pairing mode, and pairing with Versa?

I was able to pair them 1 time and thought the issue was resolved. Then the next day, they wouldn’t connect even though I followed the same steps. This problem needs to be addressed. We keep being told to be patient but it’s been going on for way too long!

Yes. I tried all of that and it worked for one day. Then when I tried to reconnect the next day, going through all the steps you just mentioned, it would not connect. It wouldn’t even say failed connection. It just kept trying to connect and after 3 minutes, I stopped trying. I’ve tried several other times with no luck. This is very frustrating!
