Just bought my first Versa.......Mistake???

So.…….doing the whole "new year, new me" malarkey saw me "investing" in a fitbit Versa today so I can keep track of my heart rate, daily steps etc. Just been onto this forum for a nosey as I can't seem to sync my spotify to it (the watch doesn't have the update as yet) to see if the lovely people out in the tech savvy world could teach me a few things. Instead it has left me wondering if I have made the right decision in buying one!! 😂 I can see a trip back to my local Argos with receipt in hand coming!

Same boat here. I wore my Versa 2 until the last couple days of my 30 day return policy (BestBuy), to give it a fair shot. Inevitably, I returned it yesterday.

It's a great watch, with a handful of really inexcusable software bugs and quirks that have been there for months looking at these forums. I feel as though with the acquisition of Fitbit by Google, these models are being left in the dust, forgotten in a pending transition. I'm sure this is not true, but it sure comes across like this.

Anyway, my recommendation would be, if you want basic tracking goto a cheap Fitibit band instead. If you want the tracking in watch form, my personal recommendation is a Samsung Active or Samsung Active 2. Higher price point, but phenomenal watches.

I spent an arm and leg on an Active 2, little less battery life then Versa's but IMO 100x better then the Versa's and Samsung is quick to fix its software issues.

Sorry a little bit of a long winded reply.

Nobody here can tell if you it is a mistake for you, but if you are basing your doubt on seeing some complaints here, keep in mind that fitbit sells roughly 15 million units a year, and most people who are pleased with them don't come on here say so.

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.
