Just set up and already showing 446 calories!?

Hi I’ve just re set my versa after 4 months of non use. Synced to my new phone and as soon as it updated it showed I had burnt 446 calories! Why? And how do I rectify this please?

Hi @Coco-loco, welcome to the community.

 

What you are seeing is correct, the Fitbit is showing your BMR calories burned, these are the calories you burn just by being alive. Your Fitbit will add these calories using a formula from the information you provided in your profile eg. Gender, weight and height. When you start moving and burning active calories, the calorie burn fitbit will report will be your total calorie burn (TDEE, BMR + Active calories).
