I reset my fitbit versa beacayse I was gifting it to someone however I have decided to keep it and  now I cant get it to stop saying download fitbit app ..  I have  the app and am logged in

Have you setup the tracker to your Fitbit account? 

Tap the top left corner to get to your account setting, do you see your Versa as connected to the app and Fitbit account? 

If not press the + to add the versa.
