I am so upset!

2 months into my new watch (after amazon's 1 month return date expired)  i began to have syncing issues with my watch. At one point i even thought i was beginning to go crazy. I had never experienced any issue with my previous fitbit watches ( this was my 4th watch...1st was charge, charge 2...blaze and 4th versa)

Boy do i regret my purchase! Only after struggling with syncing for 2 months i discover my phone is not compatible and when i check last LG Vseries that was compatible was back at LG V10. At this rate there will never be be compatible. Looks like fitbit is now for samsung and iphone owners. Its so sad....and i am even sadder that i goung to have to choose another activity tracker watch.

I really do not see myself uninstalling and reinstalling app/watch each time i want to sync my watch. I will soon be giving my beautiful watch to my friwnd who owns an iphone...this year she gets an early birthday present. There should be a disclaimer when buying this watch to.let people know of compatibility issues. Not being able to sync just defeats the purpose of owning a smart fitness watch.

Hello @Pnncc1 thanks for joining the Fitbit Community. Smiley Happy

Please note that many Android phones, like yours have all the hardware requirements to be a supported device but are currently not on our list of supported devicesThis means that we have not tested it for compatibility and added it to the list yet. For the time being, we don't have an specific date or time-frame of when is going they will be listed as compatible.

While these devices has all the specifications to be compatible and are currently working with the Fitbit app, it's possible to come across some issues along the way. Note that the list of compatible devices has been up in our help-site and that Versa site stats that the watch "syncs stats wirelessly & automatically to computers and 200+ leading iOS, Android and Windows devices."

I appreciate your understanding while we work to improve this experience, if there's anything else I can do for you, please feel free to reply.

I was fortunate to discover this as soon as I received my Fitbit and am returning to Amazon for a refund.

It is discouraging to not be able to use this particular tool simply because I don't have a more popular smartphone. Hopefully, the FitBit team can continue to update the compatible phone lists for those of us who don't have Apple or Samsung products. (For the record, I have an LG V35 Thinq, updated with the latest OS.)

The LG v35 w/updated OS and FitBit app is still not compatible with the Versa 2 as of 1/14/20.  Sync is very intermittent.  I will be returning mine as well if tech support cannot resolve.
