Hi there @deary, thanks for stopping by and bringing this to my attention. I appreciate the details provided in your post about what happened and for your time and efforts in fixing the language on your Versa, I'll be glad to help you.

Please note that changing the language on your phone changes the language in the Fitbit app and the Versa uses the same language you use for your Fitbit account. Is your phone in English or Dutch? Have you also restarted your Versa prior to doing the troubleshooting steps you listed?

If the language keep reverting to Dutch, make sure your phone is also in the language you want. The app will grab the setting from your phone.

I had this issue a few months ago when I bought a Laptop, for some reason the Windows version was only in Spanish and did not let me change it to English, so due to this language configuration my fitbit.com dashboard was using the app in Spanish. So, I went through my browser and the fitbit.com dashboard was the same. When my Windows OS was changed and it was set in multi-language OS, I set the English language option and my fitbit.com dashbard was back in English so was my Versa.

Said so, also review the Fitbit.com dashboard and change the region of your dashboard as follows:

  1. Log in to your fitbit.com dashboard and scroll to the bottom of the page.
  2. In the bottom right next to your current country, click Change to choose a different country. Your fitbit.com dashboard automatically updates to the primary language for the country you select.

Keep in mind that after making changes on your settings you'll need to sync right away to save them.
