Laps by minutes not working or I don't know how to use it

In the swimming activity settings there is an option to count laps by minutes. What I expect this to mean is, if the minute setting is 2, then every 2 minutes of swimming will count as a lap. Doesn't work.

I swim in an endless pool, so distance is by pace, not actual physical laps. Being able to say, every 2 minutes = 100 yards would be great. It seems to be possible, but isn't working.

Left to its own devices, the Versa has me swimming 100 yards/minute. The distance and calorie estimates are way off!

Hi, as far as I can see in my account and exercise settings, the minimum amount of time to recognize this activity is 10 minutes. So, two minutes are not recognized.

That's not what I meant. 40 minutes of swimming should show up as 20 100-yard laps when count laps is set to minutes and minutes is set to 2.

That doesn't happen.
