Life expectancy of a Fitbit Smartwatch

I'm just wondering how long I should expect a Fitbit to last. I really love the products, but I'm getting a little frustrated now that my family's 3rd (2 Versas, 1 Ionic) just died. They each have been just going black after about a year and a half of use. Is this just to be expected or am I just getting bad luck? We also have had 2 in the Charge series and they are still going strong and my wife has a Versa Lite, which is still going, although it is pretty new. We are heavy users of them - always on, lots of activity, shower with them on, etc. Thanks for any feedback.

I am having a similar pattern.  I am on my third fitbit.  This one is a versa and after about 18 months, it died.  I have got it restarted but now it will not sync with my phone or PC.  Very frustrating

I am the same I am on my third Versa in 2 years first one went wrong after 3 months (screen just when all different colours) and the replacement lasted 9 months (just died) and then the one I am having an issue with now since yesterday is only just a year old the issue this time is the time on the Versa is different to my phone app and will not sync
