Lifting wrist does not always turn on clock face. Other options?

I have read the existing posts and I am still not seeing my clock face display. Can someone confirm that a simple wrist flip is all that's required?  Is left button the other option?

You should be able to see your clock face when you flip your wrist. Did you check to see if your quick view is turned on?

Best Answer

Hold the left button until it vibrates and ensure that Screen Wake is turned ON.

Your quick view should be turned on. Yours may be on manual.

I haven’t had that issue. You could try a reboot or set your settings to stay on

To turn on your clock face you could press the button on the left side or you can double tap the screen.

Thank you for this!!! I was hecking my setting on the Fitbit app and the settings on the watch itself but couldn’t figure it out until I saw this post about holding the left button. I have a 1 yr old and he’s always playing with my versa and I was sure he had messed up something because I wasn’t seeing my display when I would flip my wrist.

Sometimes I could bring my hand all the way up to my face the screen is just black. It doesn't turn on even though screen wake is on. I have to forcefully turn my wrist in order for it to turn on.
