Lifting wrist does not always turn on clock face. Other options?

I have read the existing posts and I am still not seeing my clock face display. Can someone confirm that a simple wrist flip is all that's required?  Is left button the other option?

A soft reset might help. Hold Left and lower right buttons until the Fitbit logo appears and see if that works

Wow, sorry to hear that.  Hope I don't start having issues with mine bc I really like mine. What are you going to replace it with? Good luck.

The fit bit I had from two years ago . I loved it a lot but the point of getting it was for the music that I could import from my iPhone. I could not even use the music they offered I asked them to send me a replacement and the answer was it would months to one. My little does a lot and till get a better idea I will just rely on that one

Hold the left button until it vibrates and then you can change the setting from "manual" to auto

The same thing happens to me when I am biking, even though I use the same gestures as I always do when I am not biking. Is it because the exercise app interferes with the accelerometer or something?
