Hello @Burt9950 thanks for joining the Fitbit Community, it's great to have you on board.

I appreciate your participation in the Forums and for sharing your experience with us. Thanks for letting us know you've already restarted your device. At this moment, I would like to ask you to go to the Settings app in your Versa and scroll down until you see Heart Rate, make sure it's ON. If it's already ON and the lights are still not flashing, turn them off, restart your Versa again by pressing and holding the Back and Select buttons (left and bottom right) until you see the Fitbit logo on the screen and then turn them on.

Thanks for your patience and understanding, give this a try and let us know the outcome.

I purchased my fitbit through Amazon and they sent me a new fitbit the next day. I didn't get anywhere with fitbit on resolving the issue. They were giving me the run around and nothing they did worked. I'm glad I got it thru Amazon.

I think this is what I am going to end up doing.  I keep being told to do a factory reset on a watch that does not respond.

Hi mine is now doing this cant get logo off screen. No lights on back. This is my second fitbit that has done this. Im assuming its now knackered and will have to be replaced?!

I am getting the same thing. This is my 2nd one.

I did this also and it still didn't work

My Fitbit versa did the same thing after 15 months. I don’t think this product was very robust as it just stopped working for no obvious reason. This was probably my 6th Fitbit and I am becoming more and more frustrated with the time they last.

I’m having the same issue! I have tried everything suggested to troubleshoot and nothing is working. This is extremely disappointing with all the changes that have happened recently I’ll be looking for another watch with another company and many years of being a loyal customer

So I also tried all troubleshooting available and didn't work. In addition, I couldn't get any costumer support because I'm not based on the US?

How do I fix this?

Is this not possible?

This is ridiculous!!

I am having the same issue, just started this week, have had the fit bit for about 15 months.  I am not happy apparently the life of the unit is about 15 months. spent 30 minutes on chat, did everything they said, ended with do the update and it will work, did the update and it did not.

very frustrated, loved my versa2 it was my first experience with fit bit but I used the bpm and sleep the most to monitor things and that don't work, oh well, don't think I will buy another fitbit, if about a year is the best you can expect.

Wish I had done that or bought the extra 2 year warranty, I bought it through a work thing.

I totally get it. I was very disappointed that their solution was to get a new one. Totally lost my confidence in the product.

There is no assistance for fixing the problem.
