Limited apps showing up on my app notification list

Hello, I have a limited number of apps showing up on my app notification list. I would like to toggle on notifications for WhatsApp and Facebook but neither are showing up. I’ve deleted and reinstalled the app, logged out and back in. I’ve read other posts that say I need to receive notifications before it will show up but I’ve received plenty of notifications on my phone from both WhatsApp and Facebook and still it’s not showing up on my Fitbit versa 2. Help!

Hi @WASZ2021 - this behaviour is specific to iPhone. However you may also need Show preview set to always, so that a notification appears on the phone and before responding to it go into the Fitbit App and check the list of apps available.

If still not there, logout, swipe off and login and check again.

Thank you for your response! I ended up figuring out the problem and I will write it up here for anyone else experiencing this problem. The problem

came down to app specific notification settings. I needed to ensure that  the app notifications were set to show up in my iPhones notification Center and check that previews were always on. It’s not enough to have notifications show up as banners/badges you must also toggle notification Center. Once that was complete and I received my first notification on my  phone - it showed up on my Fitbit app 🙂

Glad it helped! I was also going crazy trying to figure it out - uninstalling and reinstalling, getting people to message me on different apps to try and get the notifications, searching forums, talking to live chat and customer support - that’s definitely why I wrote up what worked for me !
