Locked Versa

Hi Everyone,

 

My Vsera was locked yesterday and the watch was also removed from my iso app. I have tried many ways to reset it however it’s always failed. Appreciate if someone could help.

Have you tried the following?

 

First go into your phones Bluetooth settings and unpair the Versa from there. 

 

  1. From the Fitbit app dashboard, tap the Account icon User-added image> your device image. 
  2. Tap Set up a device.
  3. Tap Versa.
  4. Tap Set up your Fitbit Versa.

Does the phone find your Versa and ask for the code that's on the screen?

Thank you very much for your help.

 

I tried to re-pair the watch and apps from both my iPhone and win10 system however I couldn't see the paring codes from the watch due to the screen was covered by a notification of ' Unlock with Your Phone'.

 

I don't know how to pair my locked versa back to the fitbit app? anyway to reset the versa back to factory mode?

Yes you certainly can by following the hardware (button method) factory reset steps below.

 

On the watch, hold all three buttons for about twelve seconds. This will trigger the 2-button hardware restart after about eight seconds.

 

- When the Fitbit logo appears, then disappears, release the bottom right button, whilst continuing to hold the left and top right buttons until you feel a strong vibration. This indicates the factory reset was initiated.

 

- This process may take several seconds, and eventually, the Fitbit logo appears and the device boots and displays go to Fitbit.com/setup.

 

- If you fail to release the bottom right button in time or otherwise don't follow the procedure precisely, the Fitbit logo reappears quickly and boots without factory reset.

I tried it many times in the pas few days which it doesn't work instead of rebooting the watch. it's till locked. 😞

Sorry, it doesn’t work. I cannot pair the watch and phone as the watch screen is always blocked.

yes Nathan, the phone could find Versa and asks for the codes however I cannot see the codes as the screen of versa has been locked. any more suggestions. Thanks

Try going over the steps again for the 3 button factory reset. If you don't follow the steps exactly it won't work. If you are still seeing the lock screen after the reset it's possible you're not performing the reset properly.
