Log water from Versa 2

I can see the instruction 'booklet' in the app says I can log water from my fitbit as one of the 7 things I track each day, but I can't seem to figure out how to do it. Is it possible to track water directly from the Versa 2 fitbit, rather than the app?

I mean track it within fitbit, rather than a 3rd party app. Or is a 3rd party app the only way to do it?

I am working via email with the help desk now.  They had me remove the device and reinstall. But now I have lost some of my features.  I am very disheartened.

Call it a stroke of sheer luck! I was planning to get a refund for my Versa 2. I spoke to these fellas through twitter around 15 days ago. They were so HELPLESS and told me that that they can't do anything about it (wow!).

Sorry for false hope. Mine is back to to doing the same thing. My first log worked. Just tried it again. Not working. 😭

Ever since I switched to logging in ml (instead of fl), it’s been working perfectly. Every time I switch back to oz, it fails to record properly. So I keep it in ml now, no big deal.

I have been working with the “help” team. And they have had me do several restarts etc.   so now I have even bigger problems. My sleep is not recording correctly.  And I don’t believed my steps per hour are recording on my Fitbit correctly.  My iPhone no longer wants to sync with my Fitbit.  It’s just crazy!  These things are not cheap.   The customer should not be inconvenienced this much to use this product.  And yes I do know that iOS 13 caused issues.  Fitbit needs to get it together.

I do it on my Fitbit.  I liked the convenience of it.  When it works.

Just bought the versa 2 two weeks ago. Was between this and charge 4, but decided that I wanted "more" from it and liked the idea of apps. Did not plan for things to just not work...has anyone had any luck with getting to choose water as one of the stats to log directly from watch? I have tried all the steps outlined here and in the linked thread, and nothing has changed.
