I have a versa 3 and regularly use alexa on it, but have just realised after receiving a notification that it is logged into a friend's amazon/alexa account.
On the fitbit app whenever I try to log out of alexa and re-login in doesnt give me an option to actually type in my own details, but just skips to auto logging in as my friend.
I have checked that all my web browsers and amazon apps on my phone are logged in as my account, but still can't get my versa to connect to my account instead.

@Hol1 Welcome to the Fitbit Community. Thanks for the details mentioned.
Please try the following troubleshooting:
- Log out from Alexa on your Fitbit app
- Log out from the Fitbit app
- Force quit it > clear cache
- Restart your phone
- Log back in and follow this procedure to log back into Alexa on your Fitbit app
Hope this helps.

Hi, thanks for your response
I have just given your suggestion a try, but when reactivating alexa at the end I still wasn't given an option to type in my account details and it has put me back into my friend's account again.

@Hol1 Thanks for getting back. In this case, it's recommended to contact your phone company to know details on how you could forget the Alexa information and log into the correct one.
Have a nice day.

This is worst unhelpful solution. I was setting up my new sense and it did the same to me now I can’t connect to Alexa on my account because it automatically logs into someone else’s. Once I log out it should ask me to confirm credentials for signing in and it doesn’t. Calling my phone company is a horrible solution when it’s the Fitbit app not my phone.

This exact thing happened to me. I am an iPhone user. Log out of Alexa on your Fitbit app. Head to your phone settings. Scroll to Safari. Tap on Safari and scroll down until you see clear all history and tap on that. Then go back to FitBit and log into Alexa. It will prompt you to enter your log in credentials. This is what solved the issue for me.

I am having this issue on an Android phone. Tried all the suggestions, but I'm still not given an option to change which Amazon account.

Took some doing but I figured it out. The key is to log out of the Amazon app on your phone (not the Alexa app). After doing this, I was able to get the fitbit app to prompt me for an account rather than autologging me into my girlfriend's account.
