Logo on Versa 2 wont disappear

Hi, I just purchased a 2nd hand Versa 2. The logo appears together showing download Fitbit app in different languages. I tried holding the side button and reset but keeps showing same thing. I already have an account and the app. My old Fitbit screen smashed 

 

how can I get the device to connect to my phone

Thank you for taking the time to share the details regarding your Versa 2 and for trying to fix it on your own.

Please note that the difficulty you are having to set up your Versa 2 usually happens when you perform a factory reset without first unpairing the watch. In order to solve this issue, I'd recommend trying the steps below:

  • Remove your Versa 2 from your Fitbit account and unpair it from your phone's Bluetooth.
  • Force quit the Fitbit app.
  • Turn off the Bluetooth.
  • Shut off your phone and turn it on after 1-2 minutes.
  • Turn on the Bluetooth.
  • Setup your Versa 2 again.
  • If there is no connection, restart your Versa 2.
