The Fitbit versa 2 can do voice replies but I’ve seen online that it may not work for iPhone users ... is this true?☹️

Yes, apple has a closed system and does not allow third parties to voice respond to texts. I have an iphone and my Versa 2 works great, but I really don't care about texts. Whenever someone asks me about smartwatches/fitness trackers and which ones to buy I always ask what they want to do with it. If text response from the watch is important to you Versa probably isn't for you.
