Lost steps after long walk with Versa

Today I did a 20 mile walk stacking up 42,000+steps which were originally showing on my watch and my phone after syncing. The steps have now been lost and I’m on 2000+ anyone any ideas??? Can I get these steps back??

@Laulaux1 Welcome! Thanks for being part of our Community! Have you logged any activities for that day? This could affect your step count and would explain why the aren't showing as the data is overwritten for the period of time it was logged. Another thing that can affect your steps is if you are using two different devices (like a Charge 2 or Flex with your Versa or using your phone's chip which is called MobileTrack) as data can overlap and remove your steps. Please check if any of these possibility may be affecting your stats for that day since I don't think it is the Versa itself as you said it was still showing the activity. If you can please share a screenshot of your activities for that day.

Hi, the walk I complete shows 0 steps and does not show the map (gps) This was checked during the 5hr plus walk and there were no issues with the tracking. Also a walk recorded this week has not uploaded to strava. It appears that any activity recorded over 2 miles either fails to upload to strava or does not accurately record. Any activities under 2 miles have no issues. I’ve never had this issue with previous fitbits and feel disappointed that big activity days are failing to record correctly.
