On October. 21 I have a ton of zone minutes, but nothing was recognized as auto exercise. Very rarely do I get anything in exercise, why? Everything is set to 10 minutes duration. Am I confused
about how it works? Support was no help.

@RitaMc1960 Exercise get recognized using the accelerometer (movement) data. Zone minutes are awarded on heart rate data. Your graph shows that your heart rate was elevated for many hours. What were you doing during that time?

@RitaMc1960 My outdoor yard work gets recorded as aerobic workout sometimes, sport other times, any many times nothing at all. I can clean my house for an hour (heavy duty stuff) and nothing gets recognized. Auto-recognition needs high movement activities (Help article) in order to be recognized. Like you, I have my times set at 10 minutes. I am a user like you. I suspect that our Fitbits don't see an activity pattern that matches any of the algorithms. But that is a guess.
If you take a walk, does it get recognized?

Thanks for explaining the difference. Not even support seemed to understand what I was saying. (twice).Maybe you should be on the team.

Hi,
mine is the same, i use to get 4-5 days exercise now I can barely get 1-2 a week.. if I don’t use the exercise in the watch and do electrical it won’t recognize it.. I have to physically chose the exercise first.. today I was out and walked everywhere.. I have 112 moderate exercise minute and it didn’t register any exercise for today.. as you support was useless.
