Malaysia Fitbit works as normal in China?

Hi all,

 

I am going to buy a Fitbit Versa Lite in Malaysia and I will be moving to China by end of this month for long-term basis. Would like to check whether it works 100% fine in China before I purchase the Versa Lite in Malaysia.

 

Kindly advise / assist.

Thank you for your question about the performance of a Fitbit Versa Lite in China that was purchased in Malaysia. All the features and apps should work fine, but I would like to mention that some users have reported that certain time zones do not indicate that the locale is a part of China. Fitbit relies on the time zone listings from Apple and Google. Due to this, we recommend contacting Apple or Google with concerns about the names of these time zones. Any changes made by Apple or Google will be shown in the Fitbit app automatically.

 

Currently, there are no banks supported by Fitbit Pay in China. You can see the list of them on this site.
