Did you mean:

Manually logged exercise no updating the weekly exercise goal.

This is very frustrating and I think a failing by Fitbit to update the App. Yesterday I forgot to wear my Fitbit while playing tennis. My Versa was on its charger at the time. When I got home I manually logged the time and duration for the hour+ that I played tennis. It shows up in my exercise area but says it is not synced. If I try updating, the app stubbornly refuses to recognize and sync the data to give me credit for exercising that day.

Maybe this because it doesn’t have a corresponding activity tracked at that time since the device was on its charger.

As far as I’m concerned, if I enter data manually it should be synced, recognized, and recorded by the app - regardless! End of story! Please fix this. (Or if someone has a solution please let me know.)

thanks!

Thank you but has been an ongoing issue for the entire 9 months I’ve had my versa. I don’t think any actual attention has been given to this problem since it seems there should be a trivial fix for it. It is not an issue with the versa itself but the app. If I log an exercise manually (for example in a case where I exercised while my Fitbit was on its charger), there should be no need for it to try to sync with active minutes or calories burned since they weren’t recorded anyway. Otherwise I wouldn’t have needed to manually log the workout! I want the manually logged exercise to show up and be credited in my weekly exercise tracking log please! The rest of the app works great but this one issue is very disappointing - especially because it seems to be getting ignored even though it seems it should be trivial fix to the app. How about a simple “lock sync” option instead of Fitbit having to sync for you?

thanks for listening...
