Map not showing on Fitbit or Strava

Went for a run tonight, got a map like this after a sync. It got the time right and the distance right (going by an old Garmin which made that course a bit longer), but what show is this. I'm not sure the GPS is right. It's recorded 2 Park Runs as 4.5k (the Garmin, not to mention other runners, disagrees).

BUT: here's the elevation map. This is right. There is a big hill in the middle. And all the dips are the right distance.

So why won't it draw a map, and show the k splits?

Is the screen shot of the map look like the path traveled?

Not really, no. It shows about 20m of an 8k run.

That is my point, it sounded like the Versa lost a confrontation to the GPS
