The distance is limited by bluetooth range, which is 30 feet maximum. Depending on local interference, it could be less. Mine always works within 20 feet.

Is there anyway to maximize to range? I'm usually further than 30 feet away from my phone. Is there an update or an app to fix this? This feature is literally why I bought the versa 2, I like it and don't want to have to return it but this is imperative to me......
