Hi all, I’ve had a quick browse but haven’t found a solution to my issue.
I used to use strava on my phone to track my runs but then I started using the versa and synching it so I could get heart rate info too.
When I first switched I immediately noticed that my normal run distances where coming up short with a slower pace than normal shown aswell. I assumed that it was more accurate now and had been off prior to that.
However i’m now competing in races and when I use my Fitbit it always comes up short to the distance of the race...
Others who ran the same race but with a garmin for example are showing the correct distance..
Considering it uses my phones gps I’m confused as to how it gives a different distance to when I track just on my phone via strava.
Any help would be appreciated as I’m about to just cut my losses and get a garmin.

@AlexBriscoe I believe it is because Versa uses both GPS and your stride length to estimate the distance. It does not rely solely on connected GPS. Try adjusting your running stride length in the settings in the fitbit mobile app.

Calculate your stride length:

Strava does record my heart rate when linked Via FitBit app.
I too wear MyZone. If you want to see really good accurate stats in real time? https://myzone.org/blog/myzone/myzone-breakdown-exercise-tracking/
