Mileage doesn’t match

when looking at my fitbit it shows a certain number of miles but when i look at my dashboard on the app it shows different amount... for example fitbit shows 4.41 miles but app shows a little under 3 miles. i have tried uninstalling, messed with settings... can’t figure it out. everything else matches

the steps match up... guess i am confused then what “distance” it is measuring since that’s on my fitbit and the dashboard of the app
