Mileage showing 2 different speeds and distance-Versa 2

I ran on the treadmill and the Home Screen of my app said 8.06 miles at a 7:56 pace. But when I look at the exercise log it’s recorded 5.0 mi at a 12:47 pace. I believe that the latter is more accurate, but why am I getting 2 different readings?

To try to resolve this issue, I would recommend restarting your Fitbit Versa 2 by following these instructions.

Whether this doesn't help, please set up your watch as a replacement device:

1. Tap the Today tab, and tap your profile picture.
2. Tap Set Up a Device.
3. Choose your device and follow the on-screen instructions to continue.
