Miles and Steps Lost

Yesterday, I did a 6.6 mile run that logged 12563 steps which is shown in my exercise log. However, my total distance on my dashboard for yesterday has logged at 4.96 miles and 10421 steps which is evidently incorrect. When I last glanced at my watch, I was sitting around 17000 steps and 8 miles.

I didn't sync my watch before charging it, but I never do and I don't lose my data. This is the first time this has happened. Where's it gone and can I get it back?

Has your watch synced since then, do you see any data for today?

Hello,

Yes, it has synced since then, but it has also been adding random lumps of
steps it shouldn't have been. For example, walking from my desk to the
canteen, it should be about 200 steps and it has been adding 3000.
Furthermore, it has been tripling the numbers of flights I've been doing a
day.

Kind regards,

Cally
