Miles aren’t accurate on my Versa

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

I’ve noticed the last few weeks that my miles aren’t accurate at all. I walk around our neighborhood park which is 0.5 miles around one time. So if I do 10 laps around it I should have 5 miles. Wrong I usually have 3.78( or something like that) I also have an app that tracks my miles also & it’s showing that I had walked 5 miles. Has anyone else had this issue?

Hi @SunsetRunner, due to the recent events, I apologize for the delayed response. However, it's great to see you in our Fitbit Community.

I'd like to follow up and help you with your Fitbit Versa since it's not providing accurate distance data.

Please restart your Versa as described in this help article. Also, I'd like to share this help page, which explains how your Fitbit device calculates your distance traveled. Finally, monitor your watch during the next route and see if it tracks your distance accurately.

Keep me posted on the outcome.

About two weeks ago my Versa stopped recording my distance accurately. I usually do the same loop.

I have tried uninstalling everything and followed all of their steps. Nothing has worked.

Hi @GoodasGoldy, thank you for joining us in this thread and our Fitbit Community! Thank you also for trying the recommended troubleshooting steps.

I'd like you to try one more workaround, which has been helpful for this type of issues. Please try a factory reset. To do so, follow the steps below:

  1. On the device, hold all three buttons for about 10 to 12 seconds.
  2. When the Fitbit logo disappears, quickly release the bottom right button, continuing to hold down the left and top right buttons (releasing the bottom right button as soon as the logo disappears is time sensitive).
  3. When the device vibrates, release all buttons.
  4. Wait for approximately 1-2 minutes while the device clears all data. Eventually, the Fitbit logo appears and the device boots and displays Fitbit.com/setup.
  5. Set up your watch from scratch

Finally, check out if your Versa tracks your distance properly.

Let me know how it goes.
