Even after the newest update to fix some issues with the last one did not fix the music control issue. I can only connect to my phone if I put the versa in pair status. After a few minutes it disconnects. It the one feature that I used all the time and now that doesn't work. I may try a factory reset and not updated go. It worked fine before they started pushing updates.

Same here. It's a problem that is being flagged in many forums, and Fitbit's choice to persist in supporting users by walking them through music control setup steps that we already know don't work (through many repetitions) simply adds to the frustration.
