Music is not making sounds on Fitbit Versa 2

I finally connected my AirPods 2 my Fitbit versa 2 and played music on Pandora. But when I played the music it wouldn’t make sound. The music would go but no sound at all. I tried increasing the volume but nothing would happen. Can someone tell me why this is happening?!
