Is it true the only way to load music on Versa 3 is to pay for Pandora or Spotify? I cannot transfer music from computer to watch like I did with the Ionic? Sent Ionic back already because of recall and purchased Versa 3.

Hi @BabyMario - you can't load your own music to a Versa 3 like on the Ionic.
It does have a Music controls system app [double press the button to get it] that can control any music running on your phone.
Spotify cannot load offline music to the Fitbit Versa 3 or Sense so there is no need to pay premium for Spotify when you can use Music controls.

Thanks Guy for the info. It's a deal breaker. Now I have to return my Versa 3 after it arrives tomorrow. Can you please tell me the best watch to purchase that I can transfer personal music storage to the watch. Do not want to carry phone with me, just bluetooth earbuds and watch. Thanks.

@BabyMario - may be the Versa 2 will do if you want to stick with Fitbit, though you will have to research to make sure.

I am having that same problem! I would have never purchased this Versa 3 to replace my recalled Ionic had I known I couldn't transfer my Amazon Music library. I might as well have bought a $20 Timex if I have to have my phone nearby to play music and pay for a subscription.
Bad move Fitbit, I won't buy another one going forward.

Hello Chiefs816. I am returning mine. I have to catch the Fed Ex person at door tomorrow and tell them that I am rejecting package. FitBit customer service guy already gave me a case number for return and full refund. He said if i don't catch Fed Ex person, I have to call fitbit and they will take next step to send back. BB

I think I'll return mine as well. I'm beyond disappointed. I was perfectly happy with my Ionic.

My Ionic worked fine. It was my second one. First one bricked due to that update they sent out that I downloaded. Had warranty so they sent me a new Ionic. Now the recall about battery blowing and causing burns made me give up on it. Waiting on refund for that also. I guess that Google takeover has not taken over yet.
