My versa works well on speakers but is having problems with earphones, the music is distorted and stutters. Really frustrating! Anyone here with same issues or perhaps recommendations?

Hey @rxchelle, it is great to see new members around! If the music sounds distorted when using earphones paired with your Versa, here are my suggestions:

- Restart your Versa

- Unpair and repair your Bluetooth earphones

- Make sure to wear your Versa on the same side as the receiver on the headphones

Let me know how it goes!

I've had that same problem with headphones using older Bluetooth 2.0. The pitch of the song seemed higher too, like on helium. Using headphones with Bluetooth 4.0 solved this for me.

Hey @jwebb72, it is cool to see you around more often! Oh! really? Thanks for sharing that tip. In some cases I guess that the Bluetooth version might be or not affecting the signal. It also depends on the type of headphones the users have, let's wait for some other user's experiences.

Have a nice day my friend!

I don't think this issue is solved for the reader who started this message.

I've had a similar issue with my Versa SE and tried everything. The sound is crackly and higher pitched (higher frequency?). I've tried it on multiple bluetooth speakers (Altec Lansing headphones, Bose sound dock, and two others) and the issue persists. I've disconnected all bluetooth from other devices but that didn't help. I restarted multiple times (back and bottom buttons) and that didn't help. I've paired and unpaired multiple times and that didn't help. I've done a factory reset on the watch and reloaded 25 songs using the Fitbit Connect app and that didn't help.

It's definitely a problem with the watch (and / or the Fitbit Connect for Mac transfer process?) - I plan to exchange it today and try with another unit.
